'Evacuees'
‘City Stories’, is a series of six installations created for the permanent collection at Sea City Museum, Southampton. Each work, housed in a glazed museum cabinet, combines sculpture, found objects, archive material, and photographs, to explore some of Southampton’s past and present communities.
Evacuees explores the wartime experiences of children, who were evacuated to safe reception areas, away from potential bombing targets.
