City Stories, is a series of six installations created for the permanent collection at Sea City Museum, Southampton. Each work, housed in a glazed museum cabinet, combines sculpture, found objects, archive material, and photographs, to explore some of Southampton’s past and present communities.
Prisoners of War, considers the isolation of the German PoWs, stationed in transit camps on Southampton Common for the last years of the WWII. The shoes were made by a POW for a child who smiled at him through the fence.
